Wednesday 04th June 2025, Hilton Newcastle, Bottle Bank, NE8 2AR

We look forward to welcoming you to our summer meeting at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on Wednesday 04th June. We are delighted to welcome Prof Chris Lloyd, Great Ormond Street Hospital to give the Annual PJ Hay lecture.
The meeting has two themes “Is small a big problem?” and “functional visual loss”. We have invited experts from across the region to give tips on dealing with small sockets, small pupils in neuro, cataracts in small eyes, paediatric anaesthesia; we will look at clinical assessment in functional visual loss, retinal conditions that mimic functional visual loss and the psychological perspective of medically unexplained symptoms in paediatric ophthalmology
